Nacho/Southwestern Dip

I experimented the other night when we were making nachos.  I wanted to dip them in something with a sour cream base, but not plain sour cream.  Here's what I came up with.

Ingredients:


  • 3 parts Sour Cream*
  • 1 part salsa, temperature of your choice
  • Diced pickled jalapenos, to taste
  • 1-2 tsp of jalapeno juice, from jar of jalapenos
  • Cayenne pepper to taste
*For vegan option, you may substitute any vegan sour cream alternative.

Directions:

Combine all ingredients and mix well.  Chill for 1 hour prior to serving.  Note - you may adjust the sour cream to salsa ratio to adjust to desired thickness.
